2700 NRA Precision Pistol competition derives it’s name from the holy grail of pistol sports, a perfect score of 2700 points.

The competition is fired in three stages of 900 points each. Stage one is fired with a 22 rimfire pistol. Stage two is called CF (Center Fire) and shot with the competitor’s choice of cartridge .32 caliber minimum to no larger than .45 caliber. Stage three must be fired with a .45 caliber cartridge. Each stage shoots 9 bullseye style targets 10 shots per target with various time limitations on each.

If you like target shooting this is a challenging and rewarding sport which rewards strong mental discipline and good trigger control. Contact Tim Young 720-951-0475 for more information on how to sign up for a match. Competition is open to non-club members.
